Emergencies come in all shapes and sizes. Sometimes it’s a job loss, a health crisis, or the loss of a spouse; other times a natural disaster impacts entire neighborhoods. No matter the cause, the Emergency Assistance program at GMHN stands ready to provide temporary assistance so neighbors can get back on their feet.
Through this program, GMHN provides emergency financial assistance for residents in our school district for rent, utilities, car repair and medical needs. The max on rent is $300 and all others $200. Annual max is $500 and lifetime is $1,000. Money is allotted based on need, when funds are available.
