WHO WE ARE
Groveport Madison Human Needs is a community-based nonprofit, that strives to assist residents in crisis.
When funds are available, GMHN provides assistance in areas that include:
- Housing assistance (up to $300)
- Utility, auto or medical assistance (up to $200)
- Job referral assistance
We need you and your help
It’s impossible to help people without people helping others. We always need volunteers who love to help.
SERVICES
Emergency Assistance
Through this program, GMHN provides emergency financial assistance to residents in our school district for rent, utilities, car repair and medical needs when funds are available.
Adopt A Family
This is a program to provide Christmas to families in our school district who are experiencing a financial hardship.
Cruiser Closets
This program provides each Groveport Madison school with a ‘closet’ of assorted essentials such as clothing and hygiene items for urgent circumstances based on a social workers’ discretion.
School Supply Distribution
Working with NBC 4, community churches, and a local career center Cosmetology program our school supply distribution takes place every August.
